The most popular walk follows the river upstream to the big waterfall and its turquoise pool — roughly 3 hours each way at a steady pace, with some rocky and uphill sections. Cafes along the way make good rest stops.
A shorter walk from the same trailhead (around 40–60 minutes) reaches the Pont de Dieu, a huge natural rock arch carved by the river — impressive and achievable for most walkers, and combinable with the small lower falls.
Wear proper walking shoes with grip; the riverside rocks can be slippery, especially after rain. Bring water, sun protection and a swimsuit for the pools in summer, and start early to allow time for the longer waterfall route.
