Overview
A full-day Rif nature outing from Chefchaouen to the dramatic God's Bridge rock arch (Pont de Dieu) and the cedar and fir forests of the Talassemtane National Park.
Pont de Dieu — God's Bridge — is a vast natural rock arch carved by the Oued Farda river in the Akchour gorge, a short and gentler walk than the waterfall route and just as spectacular. The river has bored a 25-metre tunnel through the cliff, leaving a bridge of stone you can stand beneath and above. It's one of the great natural wonders of northern Morocco and far less crowded than the cascades.
We pair the arch with a deeper look at the Talassemtane National Park — a UNESCO biosphere reserve protecting the last Moroccan fir forests and a refuge for Barbary macaques and rare birds of prey. Your local guide explains the geology, the forest ecology and the Rif's traditions on an easy-to-moderate day in the mountains, returning to Chefchaouen by late afternoon.

Frequently asked
Questions about this tour.
Is "God's Bridge & Talassemtane" private or a group tour?
100% private. Just you and the people you book with — your own driver-guide, vehicle and pace from start to finish. We never pool travellers.
Can I change the dates or itinerary?
Yes. Every itinerary is a starting point. Add the Akchour hike, swap a riad, change the start city — we'll re-quote in 24 hours and lock the price in writing before any deposit.
How fit do I need to be?
Easy. Light walking on the blue medina's cobbled lanes, plus optional viewpoint climbs you can opt in or out of on the day.
When should I book a Chefchaouen tour?
For spring (Mar–May) and autumn (Sep–Oct), and any trip combining Tangier or Fes, book 4–8 weeks ahead. Last-minute (under 14 days) is usually still possible with a phone call.
Is God's Bridge easier than the Akchour waterfalls?
Yes — the walk to God's Bridge is shorter (about 45 minutes each way) and gentler than the two-hour climb to the Grande Cascade, which makes it a good choice for families or anyone wanting a lighter day in the Rif.
